Using this tweak you will be able to change the default homepage from Firefox start to your desired link. After this, whenever you press "Restore to Default" in the homepage selection you arrive at your desired link. You can make your Homepage totally unchangeable or locked using this tweak in conjunction with my other posting titled

Here's How you can change default homepage in Mozilla Firefox :-
  1. Open Firefox folder present in your Program Files and find a file named browserconfig.properties
  2. Open it in notepad and you will see the following text:
    browser.startup.homepage=http://en-US.start2.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:officialbrowser.startup.homepage_reset=http://en-US.start2.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
  3. Replace the Firefox start homepage link i.e, http://en-US.start2.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official with your desired link and save the file and exit.
