- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2019The magazine fits audiences with a broad range of scientific knowledge background. I love the topics chosen and the articles are all about cutting edge technology, scientific discoveries and innovative ideas. While I enjoy reading articles published in scientific journals such as Nature and Cell, I also enjoy reading reviews of work done by multiple research groups and knowing the career path of successful scientists which is very inspiring. Love this magazine!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2014Well written, expert communication of the topics covered. However, it was very biased towards life science topics rather than a sampling of a wide range of topics as they advertise to be. Worth trying once or twice, and see if it is your flavour!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2018This is an awesome general science magazine. It has really interesting articles. I'm a medical laboratory scientist and I have a love for all science and I look forward to getting this every month. If you go to the publisher website you can get this magazine sent to your home for free every month if you're a scientist. It takes almost three months, so I paid for the Kindle subscription until then. I highly recommend.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2019I so enjoy the Scientist and undoubtedly find a relevant article in every volume
- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2019The magazine has a leftist spin on things. Not surprising probably because it seems all of academia is becoming more left leaning
