Migraine Pain Causes and Remedies

In some people migraine may be occurring several times a month or year. Studies have estimated that 1 in 100 people suffer from the migraine. When compared to males, migraine affects more in females.

  2. Even stress causes the migraine.
  3. Some times change in temperature causes the migraine.
  4. Some people are extremely sensitive to some sensory stimulus and those stimuli may also lead to the migraine.
  5. Certain medications are also said to cause the migraine.

Essential oils and aromatherapy offers great deal of relief to the migraine suffers. Lavender can also be used as the alternative herbal remedy.

There are several drugs like NSAIDS – Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs and drugs like ergots alkaloids, samaritan, rizatriptan (triptans) and some pain relieving drugs are used generally and some times even herbal treatment is also taken.
